Bulk Data Centers’ Oslo Internet Exchange (OS-IX) is a high security colocation facility, centrally located in the heart of Oslo. The site offers a high number of global network operators and fiber networks and easy accessibility to regional enterprises and international markets – it has 80% of Norway’s traffic traversing through the facility.
Opened in 2014 and situated in an old printing press, our Oslo data center is just 32km from Gardermoen International Airport and 5.3km from Oslo Central Station. The facility offers 14MW of 2N redundant renewable power and is Tier III-rated (EN50600 Class 3) to meet performance, sustainability and scalability goals.
Current expansion of the facility is underway, adding 5.5MW capacity to the site and is designed with high-density workloads in mind, ready for both AI and HPC requirements, as well as more traditional data center services.
